Wheels 03:03
The wheels of human history all run at a loss They took me to the neighbor boy to contract chicken pox I could ride my bike away, fast as able legs I would send you something from every stop I made Then how would you remember me from far away at last? When all you know is what I've shown through postcards from the past Gentry raise the rigamarole to presidents-elect We sort the mail for pocket change as we've been taught to expect We are like the old couples who never rent-to-own Distrusting of establishments from ages long ago Oh, you know I worry. It's pointless but it's true If it gets a little blurry, know, I'll always stick to you

The body betrays The body betrays Make all your plans anyways, but the body betrays Neath a banner of night is our faith robbed by sight Still, you tell me you see things the same as the body betrays It's coming on fall you're behind the ball "Couldn't you tell it was coming?" they say as the body betrays The body betrays The body betrays Make all your plans anyways, but the body betrays In the midst of the flood it's all mortar and mud There's no talk of the old-time displays where the body betrays Let the anthem be sung You know what you've done like you did in those varsity days where the body betrays The body betrays The body betrays Make all your plans anyways, but the body betrays Only say what you mean as you would in a dream and your dreams'll respond through the haze that the body betrays

Hazel 02:33
If we have a boy, let's call him Hazel let his hair grow long let his naked skin catch on brambles Wild knows right from wrong And if there is a girl to greet us, we must see that she grows strong Set another place at the table, life goes on and on Pass the peas and jump the hedges like we used to do Sound the vowels out around the edges all is old is new She's covetous of nothing less than everything we bring and know So let's call the girl 'Hereunder Liza' and, baby, here we go Underneath the orange tree down by the blustery bay That's where I wanna be till the tide takes me away

about

As much as you want to hoard every project forever and just keep working on them to be perfect, you just can't. Here is a small collection of demos/songs I have affection for but will likely never be motivated to put more work into. They've come and gone for me and now they're yours if you want 'em. Happy Spring Cleaning!
